Tri-Axle Hood
With fit adjustments at three points, MontBell's tri-axle hood design revolutionizes the hood: a Velcro tab at top adjusts the height, two side cord locks let you adjust peripheral vision, and a cord lock adjusts the fit around your neck. The bird-bill hood design keeps you better protected and warmer and provides good visibility even under extreme weather conditions. |
Seam-Sealed Collar
Our collars are fully seam sealed for all-weather protection. We attach our hoods using a second seam that is slightly lower than that of the collar. This ensures that there is no gap in seam sealing on the outside of the jacket whether the hood is opened or closed. |

Alpine Cuffs
Easy-to-adjust Alpine Cuffs keep out the unwanted bite of winter or let in a cool mountain breeze. You can adjust cuffs according to what you wear under the shell. And since the cuffs are made from one half elastic and one half Velcro tape, they won't bind or leave you with elastic imprints. |
Draw Cords
We put draw cords in the waist pockets to allow you to cinch the waist tight while keeping out the winter chill. The inner cord is protected from the elements as well-eliminating the problem of an unexpectedly frozen cord. |
